  About the Role

  • We are looking for a results-driven Business Development specialist to grow our healthcare products and services retail footprint in Anthony and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is a lady with proven marketing experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector, who understands retail channels, customer relationships, and how to turn market opportunities into revenue.
  • You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships with clinics, pharmacies, HMOs, and retail outlets, and driving sales of both products and healthcare services.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share for healthcare products and retail services in Lagos.
  • Build and manage relationships with pharmacies, drug stores, diagnostic centers, wellness clinics, and other retail outlets.
  • Identify, pitch, and close new B2B and B2C clients for products and service offerings.
  • Establish partnerships with healthcare providers, HMOs, corporate organizations, and community health programs.
  • Plan and execute retail marketing campaigns, in-store activations, and product launches tailored to the healthcare/pharma market.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and volume targets.
  • Monitor competitors, pricing, and consumer trends in healthcare retail. Provide insights to inform product and service positioning.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth product delivery and service execution.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline, and market feedback.

  Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years in Marketing/Business Development within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or healthcare retail sector.
  • Hands-on experience in retailing of healthcare products and services. Understanding of pharmacy operations, OTC, ethical products, and healthcare service sales is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets, strong negotiation skills, excellent relationship management, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field. MBA is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools. Must have excellent communication skills in English.
