  About Us

  We are an established international trading company with 20+ years of experience in the Nigerian market, representing international manufacturers across various industries.

  We are now expanding into the Nigerian cement industry as the representative of a leading Chinese manufacturer of cement grinding aids.

  We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to take the lead in building this new business in Nigeria.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Nigerian market-entry and sales strategy.
  • Build relationships with major cement producers, including plant management, technical/process teams and procurement.
  • Identify new customers, opportunities and decision-makers within the cement industry.
  • Introduce our cement grinding-aid products and coordinate customer/plant trials with our Chinese technical team.
  • Convert successful trials into commercial contracts and recurring sales.
  • Develop pricing, commercial proposals and sales forecasts.
  • Monitor competitors, market pricing and customer requirements.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and key-account relationships.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and business reports to management.

  Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales/business development experience, preferably in cement, cement additives, industrial chemicals, construction chemicals or building materials.
  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian industrial/cement market.
  • Existing relationships with Nigerian cement producers will be a major advantage.
  • Proven track record in new-business development and key-account acquisition.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Technical understanding of cement manufacturing/grinding is highly desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Nigeria.
