  About the role

  • Supports the quality assurance and quality control function, carrying out audits, monitoring quality indicators and supporting accreditation readiness across services.

  Responsibilities

  • Carry out clinical and operational audits and document findings.
  • Monitor quality and patient-safety indicators and support improvement actions.
  • Support accreditation and regulatory-readiness activities.
  • Maintain quality records and assist with reporting.
  • Promote quality awareness across departments.

  Requirements
  Education:

  • A relevant clinical, health-sciences or quality-related qualification. Completion of NYSC, or a valid exemption where applicable.

  Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, clinical audit or a related clinical governance function.
  • Post-registration experience in healthcare quality assurance practice.
  • Clinical/technical competence appropriate to the role, exercised with appropriate supervision.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary hospital team.

  Required skills:

  • Knowledge of healthcare quality assurance and audit methods.
  • Ability to collect, analyse and present quality data.
  • Understanding of patient safety and accreditation requirements.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Effective communication across departments.
