  Role Description

  • This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
  • The Sales Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, engage prospective clients, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing.
  • Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing and delivering proposals, negotiating terms, and maintaining strong long-term relationships with customers.
  • The role involves closely collaborating with the product and operations teams to understand solution features, gather customer feedback, and refine value propositions.
  • The Sales Executive will also monitor market trends, maintain accurate sales reports, and contribute to meeting revenue and growth targets for Fuelmetrics.

  Qualifications

  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management to build and maintain a steady flow of opportunities.
  • Experience in consultative selling, solution presentation, and negotiation to close deals effectively and ethically.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships, including client onboarding, account management, and regular follow-ups.
  • Competence in using CRM and sales productivity tools, as well as basic data analysis to track performance and inform sales strategy.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, technology or SaaS solutions, or the energy industry in Africa is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
