  Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic, result-driven, and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales growth across the Lagos market.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Open Market and HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés/Catering) channels, with a proven ability to expand market coverage, build customer relationships, and consistently achieve sales targets.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share within the assigned territory.
  • Drive product distribution and availability across open markets and HoReCa outlets.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key HoReCa accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Monitor competitors' activities, market trends, and pricing to identify business opportunities.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Supervise and support sales representatives within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular market visits to improve product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the snacks, food, or consumer goods industry.
  • Demonstrable experience managing Open Market and HoReCa sales channels in Lagos.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's licence is an added advantage.
