  Description

  • The Procurement Officer (Female) is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods and services required for the company’s operations.
  • The role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source reliable vendors and suppliers for materials, goods, and services.
  • Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines to achieve cost savings.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support operations and projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to avoid shortages.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, and other departments for seamless procurement processes.
  • Track and report on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Resolve any issues related to supply delays, quality, or discrepancies.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

  Requirements

  • Must be Female
  • Minimum of OND or SSCE qualification
  • Additional certification or training in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
