  Job Description

  • The Senior Procurement Officer is required to lead procurement planning, sourcing and contract management.
  • He will also be saddled with ensuring compliance with Public Procurement Act and the organizational policies of the Polytechnic.
  • The candidate will equally manage vendor relationships and negotiations for costefficiency.

  Qualifications

  • The candidate should have a good Bachelor Degree (minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or any other relevant discipline with at least six (6) years post-qualification cognate work experience in the Procurement Department of a tertiary institution.
  • The Professional Certificate in procurement CIPSMN or equivalent is mandatory.
  • The preferred candidate should have experience in procurement matters in tertiary institution.
  • Strong knowledge of e-procurement system und budgeting will be an advantage.
