  Thoughtful House Autism Center Abuja is seeking passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teachers to support learners with diverse learning needs within our inclusive school environment. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in child development, inclusive education, and helping every child reach their full potential.

  Basic Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor\\\'s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related Humanities discipline.
  • Aspiring teachers with a strong interest in special education are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is an added advantage.
  • Basic report writing and technology skills is preffered.
  • Strong communication, observation, and classroom management skills.
  • A patient, compassionate, and collaborative approach to supporting learners.
  • Willingness to learn and implement individualized teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, therapists, and other professionals within an inclusive setting.

  A degree in Psychology, Child Development, Sociology, English, or other Humanities-related fields will be considered an added advantage. Training in special education, behaviour support, autism, learning difficulties, or related areas is also desirable.
