    Business Development Officer

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a creative and versatile Business Development Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in graphic design, possess video editing skills, and have a strong understanding of social media platforms in Cardinal Torch Company. He/She would play a crucial role in facilitating the expansion and success of our business by providing essential support in various aspects of business development and undertakes a range of business research analysis, reporting, implementation, and administrative activities, in line with established operational plans and objectives. This role involves conceptualizing and producing visually appealing content that aligns with our brand identity and engages our target audience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Creation

    • Generate engaging and shareable content for social media platforms.
    • Conceptualize and produce multimedia content, including images, info-graphics, and videos.
    • Tailor content to suit different channels and audience preferences.

    Video Editing

    • Edit and enhance video content to create polished and professional materials.
    • Incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to elevate the visual appeal of videos.
    • Stay updated on video editing trends and tools to continuously improve the quality of content.

    Social Media Management

    • Manage and curate social media content calendars.- Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into content strategy.
    • Engage with the audience and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.

    Brand Consistency

    • Ensure all content aligns with the brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive visual identity.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold brand consistency across various channels.

    Business Support

    • Provide business and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on business plans, milestones, and deliverable, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved Business plans.
    • Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies, and practices to ensure the delivery of business complies with relevant legislation and frameworks.
    • Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned Business areas and contribute to the preparation of briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
    • Assist the team to complete tasks and implement business plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
    • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding status and implementation issues.
    • Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating committee meetings and preparing papers to support management delivery.
    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify business opportunities and industry trends.
    • Analyze market data to assess competitive landscapes and provide insights to inform business strategies.
    • Assist in the preparation and customization of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for business development materials.
    • Support the cultivation and maintenance of client relationships through effective communication and coordination.-Assist in managing client databases, tracking interactions, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Contribute to lead generation activities through research and identification of potential clients.
    • Assist in the development of strategies to target and approach potential clients.
    • Provide administrative support in scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and managing business development calendars.
    • Ensure accurate and organized documentation of business activities.
    • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and other departments to streamline communication and enhance overall business development effectiveness.

    Qualifications

    • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in business support.
    • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer/Content Creator is a plus.
    • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Strong video editing skills using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or similar.
    • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business development tools.
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.
