    Doviana College of Education is an approved Private Tertiary Institution by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) by extension Federal Government of Nigeria based in Gboko Benue State Nigeria whose aim is to produce well-movtivated Teachers with high personal and professional discipline, integrity and competence.

    Policy Compliance Officer

    The Policy Compliance Officer ensures Doviana College operates in line with NCCE, TRCN, JAMB, NBTE, Federal/State Government, and internal college policies. You will monitor, audit, and advise management to reduce regulatory risk and maintain accreditation standards.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    POLICY DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION

    • Review, update, and draft college policies: Academic, Admin, HR, Student Affairs, ICT, Admissions, Examinations
    • Ensure all policies align with NCCE Minimum Standards, NUC/BMTP guidelines, and other regulatory bodies
    • Communicate new policies to staff and students and ensure proper adoption

    REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & AUDIT

    • Conduct regular internal audits to check compliance with NCCE, TRCN, JAMB, NYSC, and government circulars
    • Prepare documents and evidence for accreditation, resource verification, and inspection visits
    • Monitor staff/student adherence to code of conduct, examination rules, and academic integrity policies
    • Liaise with NCCE, TRCN, TETFund, and Ministry of Education on compliance matters

    RISK MANAGEMENT & REPORTING

    • Identify policy gaps and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions to management
    • Maintain a compliance register and track deadlines for reports, returns, and renewals
    • Investigate breaches, complaints, and whistleblowing cases and recommend sanctions/remedies

    Submit monthly/quarterly compliance reports to Provost and Governing Council

    TRAINING & ADVISORY

    • Organize training and sensitization for staff on new policies, ethics, anti-corruption, data protection, and sexual harassment
    • Advise HODs, Deans, and Directors on policy interpretation and implementation

    Ensure digital systems and records meet data protection and e-governance standards

    DOCUMENTATION

    • Maintain up-to-date policy manual and compliance files
    • Ensure proper filing of MOUs, licenses, approvals, and regulatory correspondence

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: HND / BSc in, Public Administration, Education, Political Science, or related field. Master\'s degree is an advantage

    Professional:

    • TRCN registration/licence for education roles
    • Membership of CIPMN, NIM, or relevant professional body is an advantage
    • Experience: 3-4 years experience in compliance, quality assurance, audit, legal, or academic administration. Experience in tertiary institution preferred

    Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of NCCE Minimum Standards and education regulations in Nigeria
    • Strong understanding of policy analysis and governance
    • ICT competence: MS Office, Google Workspace, policy management systems
    • Report writing, investigation, and data analysis skills

    CORE COMPETENCIES

    • Attention to detail and integrity
    • Good communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to teach physical + online + blended classes if posted to teach
    • Problem-solving and decision-making
    • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders: staff, students, regulators

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    • 100% readiness for NCCE accreditation visits
    • Zero major regulatory sanctions
    • Timely submission of all statutory returns
    • % of staff trained on policies annually
    • Reduction in policy violations/complaints
