    Business Development Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring clients, and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in the logistics and supply chain industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
    • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
    • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
    • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong business development and sales skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • CRM experience is an added advantage.

    Other Requirements:

    • Strong network within the logistics, manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries is an advantage.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel for client meetings.
    • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Remuneration

    • Salary: N300,000 – N350,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
    • Performance-based incentives.
    • Health Insurance (where applicable).
