  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Measure and accurately record patients’ vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • Provide basic patient care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support patient mobility, positioning, and safe transfers, including the use of wheelchairs.
  • Observe patients and promptly report any changes in their condition to the registered nurse.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and adequate supplies in patient-care areas.
  • Maintain accurate patient care records and documentation.
  • Comply with infection prevention and control procedures and other hospital policies.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned within the unit.

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a recognized Nursing Technician, Nursing Assistant, or Health Assistant certificate from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 1 year of 1-year relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care, medical terminology, and infection prevention and control.
  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a healthcare team.
  • Patience and empathy when dealing with sick or elderly patients.
  • Must reside in Lagos.
