    Jobman / Office Assistant

    Reports To: Facilities Manager

    Position Summary

    • We are seeking a versatile and reliable Jobman to handle a wide variety of general maintenance, repair, and minor installation tasks across our facility.
    • The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver capable of managing small, miscellaneous jobs independently, ensuring that the workplace remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building fixtures, furniture, and equipment (e.g., carpentry, basic plumbing, and electrical fixes).
    • Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture, equipment, and staging for company events or office reconfigurations.
    • Conduct general facility inspections to identify and proactively address maintenance needs, safety hazards, or wear and tear.
    • Execute miscellaneous ad-hoc tasks as assigned, which may include basic painting, light landscaping, or assembling new equipment.
    • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and oversee their work to ensure quality and timely completion.
    • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, supplies, and maintenance materials, notifying management when restocking is required.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • High school Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a trade is a plus.
    • Proven experience in a general maintenance, handyman, or jobman role.
    • Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
    • Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple small tasks efficiently.
    • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects, standing, kneeling, and climbing ladders as needed.
