  Job Summary

  • The Product Manager and Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the development, improvement, and lifecycle management of the company's pharmaceutical products.
  • The role focuses on identifying product opportunities, translating business and customer challenges into product solutions, preparing detailed product requirements, carrying out marketing activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet market demands, regulatory standards, and business objectives.

  Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product and business strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives, profitability targets, and overall vision.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle from market research, product development, launch, growth, and portfolio optimization.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and product expansion initiatives to increase revenue and strengthen market share.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies, including product positioning, pricing, branding, promotional activities, and go-to-market plans.
  • Monitor product performance, sales trends, inventory levels, and market feedback to recommend improvements, optimize product strategies, and support business decisions.
  • Lead new product development and launch activities, including supplier evaluation, product documentation, training, exhibitions, conferences, and promotional campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, key stakeholders, and business partners to enhance market penetration and business growth.
  • Accompany Reps on Hospital Visits to provide detailing, to strengthen product knowledge and gather market insights.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development and expansion of the company's product portfolio by conducting market research, evaluating customer needs, and collaborating with the Procurement team to source reliable suppliers and ensure the availability of quality products.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's Dgree in Pharmacy.
  • Master's Degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Management within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industry.
