  Job description

  • Jewel Sarah Memorial School is seeking a passionate and competent Secondary Section Teacher to handle Social Studies and CRS. We need an experienced educator with proven subject mastery to inspire students, uphold our high academic standards, and promote strong moral values in a conducive, tech-integrated learning environment.

  Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Social Studies and Christian Religious Studies (CRS) to secondary students.
  • Create comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials that align with educational standards.
  • Assess student progress, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to ensure a solid grasp of the subjects.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school management regarding student development.

  Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Possession of a BA, BSc, HND, or NCE in Education, Christian Religious Studies, Social Sciences, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching Social Studies and CRS in a secondary school setting.
  • Competencies: Strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners.
  • Values: Dedication to promoting intensive academic growth and high moral standards in the fear of God.
