    Regional Project Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Regional Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects (solar installations, mini-grids, inverter/battery systems, and related infrastructure) across an assigned region.
    • The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards, while coordinating closely with Regional Managers, Technical Managers, and City Managers within the region.
    • The Regional Project Manager acts as the central coordinator for all active renewable energy projects within the region, from project initiation through to commissioning and handover.
    • The role bridges business development, technical delivery, and client relationship management, ensuring that Absen's project commitments are met consistently across all cities/locations in the region.

    Key Responsibilities

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Renewable Energy), Project Management, or a related field.
    • A professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage.

    Experience

    • 5–7 years' experience in project management, with at least 2–3 years specifically in renewable energy, solar, or power infrastructure projects.
    • Demonstrable experience managing multiple concurrent projects across different locations.
    • Experience working with or managing regional teams and multiple stakeholders is required.
    • Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned region.
    • Valid driver's license required.
    • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the regional headquarters location.
    • Sound understanding of the renewable energy regulatory environment in Nigeria is an advantage.
