  Job Summary

  We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Driller to operate drilling equipment and execute drilling activities in support of quarry mining operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating drilling machines, a solid understanding of quarry drilling techniques, and a strong commitment to health, safety, and operational efficiency.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain drilling machines to carry out drilling activities in accordance with production plans.
  • Perform drilling operations accurately to meet blasting and quarry production requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of drilling equipment, reporting faults promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies during all drilling operations.
  • Monitor drilling performance, maintain accurate drilling records, and report daily production activities.
  • Work closely with the blasting and quarry operations teams to ensure efficient and safe extraction processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while ensuring all equipment is handled safely and efficiently.

  Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience operating drilling machines in a quarry or mining environment.
  • SSCE, OND, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or rotary drilling equipment.
  • Good understanding of quarry drilling techniques and safety procedures.
  • Ability to identify and report equipment faults and perform basic preventive maintenance.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor environments.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
