  JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Supervise and coordinate all mining activities during the assigned shift to ensure safety, productivity and compliance with company policies.
  • Lead, motivate and manage shift personnel to achieve daily production targets and operational goals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment utilization and ensure proper maintenance and reporting of faults.
  • Conduct pre-shift, toolbox talks and safety inspections.
  • Maintain accurate shift records, production reports and operational documentation.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  REQUIREMENTS:

  • HND/B.Sc in Mining Engineering, Geology or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the mining industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of mining operations, safety and equipment.
  • Must be safety-conscious and results-driven.
