  Role Description

  • The Human Resources Administrator will join the HR team provide day-to-day HR support across Montessori International Group Of Schools (M.I.S) PH, ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations.
  • This full-time, on-site role, based in Port Harcourt, includes maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, and supporting performance management and staff development processes.
  • The role involves administering benefits, assisting with payroll inputs, and updating Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to keep data accurate and secure.
  • The Human Resources Administrator will help interpret and apply labor and employment regulations, support the implementation of HR policies, and respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working closely with school leadership and staff, this person will contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment that aligns with the school’s values.

  Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Human Resources (HR) fundamentals and HR Management practices.
  • Extensive Experience with General Administration and office related processes.
  • Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and HR management is NOT required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is not mandatory but an added advantage..
  • Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role, preferably in education or a service-oriented organisation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff, management, and families.
