  Role Description

  • The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Python, focusing on robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing APIs, integrating with databases, and optimizing application performance.
  • The Senior Python Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review code, mentor less-experienced developers, and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.
  • The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, improving development workflows, and participating in planning and technical documentation.

  Qualifications

  • Strong programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills with advanced proficiency in Python.
  • Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and server-side logic.
  • Solid background in Software Development practices, including testing, debugging, version control, and deployment.
  • Hands-on experience working with Databases, including schema design, queries, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to design scalable architectures, apply software design patterns, and follow clean code principles.
  • Previous experience in leading or mentoring development teams and collaborating in cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
  • Banking or Fintech Experience is a plus.
