  Role Description

  This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Engineer based in Lagos State, Nigeria, with flexibility for some work from home. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end components. Daily tasks include implementing responsive user interfaces, building and integrating APIs, optimizing application performance, and ensuring security and reliability of payment-related services. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, reviewing code, and contributing to continuous improvement of the engineering stack and processes.

  Qualifications

  • Strong back-end web development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks and APIs.
  • Proficiency in front-end development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
  • Solid foundation in software development principles, including version control, testing, and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience with full-stack development, integrating front-end and back-end systems.
  • Understanding of payment systems, financial services, or fintech platforms is an advantage.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and designing scalable data models.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work effectively in an agile, collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
