Job Summary
- As the General Manager (Plant / Factory HR), you will provide strategic and operational leadership for all human resources activities within the plant environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute plant HR strategies covering workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development.
- Lead industrial and employee relations activities, including grievance management, disciplinary processes, labour matters, and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with plant leadership to optimize manpower utilization, productivity, organizational structure, and workforce costs in line with operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, HSE requirements, and regulatory standards while maintaining effective HR controls, records, and reporting.
- Lead and develop the plant HR team while driving performance culture, change management, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience managing HR operations within a manufacturing, plant, mining, or heavy industrial environment.
