  Job Summary

  • As the Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with statutory and financial reporting requirements.

  Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices, issue payment receipts, and follow up on outstanding client payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts, maintain accurate financial records, and manage petty cash transactions
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, account statements, and management reports
  • Ensure timely remittance of statutory obligations including taxes, pensions, and other regulatory payments
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies, financial controls, and audit requirements

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, bank reconciliation, taxation, and statutory compliance
  • ICAN certification or progress toward professional certification is an added advantage.
