  Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Secretary to the Board and its Committees.
  • Provide legal advisory services on corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
  • Oversee all litigation matters and manage external solicitors.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Supervise records management, archives, and corporate documentation. Oversee the activities of the Company Affairs Directorate.
  • Supervise the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman.
  • Represent the Chairman/GCEO at corporate, government, and stakeholder engagements as may be delegated. *
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and relevant authorities on behalf of the Group.

  Requirements

  • LL.B and B.L. qualifications with active membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
  • ⁠Masters degree
  • Minimum of 18 years post-qualification experience with proven expertise in: Litigation
  • Legal Services Corporate Governance Records & Archives Management Regulatory and Legal Compliance Membership of ICSAN/CGI or related professional bodies will be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in a large corporate or group structure is highly desirable.
