Head of Human Resources

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Human Resources (HR) to lead our HR function and drive our people strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing HR initiatives that align with the overall business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and best practices, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment within our Abuja-based organization. Applicants must have at least one HR Certification.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the organization's goals and culture. Provide strategic advice and counsel to the leadership team on all HR-related matters.
• Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding. Develop and implement effective talent management strategies, including performance management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
• Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations, address grievances and disputes effectively, and ensure a fair and equitable work environment. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
• Learning and Development: Design and deliver learning and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. Identify training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Performance Management: Lead the performance management process, ensuring fair and effective feedback mechanisms are in place to drive employee growth and organizational performance.
• Organizational Development: Contribute to organizational development initiatives, including change management, organizational design, and culture building.
